OTTAWA—Earlier today, Pierre Poilievre, Member of Parliament for Carleton announced the 2016 Canada Summer Jobs at Goulbourn Museum in the north-west end of Ottawa.

Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. These jobs provide students with experience and connections that become extremely useful to them when they enter the professional field as contributing employees.

“These summer jobs have many benefits to the local communities”, explained MP Poilievre. “They help students looking for temporary employment find jobs.”

A special thank-you goes out to Kathryn Jamieson from the Goulbourn Museum for hosting the announcement.

The Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to non-for-profit organizations, public sector employers and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create summer job opportunities for young people aged 15-30 years who are full-time students intending to return to school in the following year.
