In March 2016, the National Capital Commission (NCC) released a document with a number of plans for a new Sir John A Macdonald Riverfront Linear Park. Unfortunately, one proposal within those plans is the reduction of the Sir John A Macdonald Parkway to just two lanes from its current four. This would significantly impact commuters coming into the downtown Ottawa core from Quebec and the west-end.

Belolw is the letter I wrote to Melanie Joly, the Minister responsible for the National Capital Commission, encouraging her to not go ahead with this proposed reduction.

The NCC has an online survey for you to comment on this plan. I encourage you to complete this survey to tell the NCC that this proposal is wrong. Note that the survey is only available until April 13, 2016, so make sure you complete it today.
